Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (plant pathogen) (ex Fukumoto 1943) Priest et al. 1987
The bacterium is mainly known as a beneficial antagonist of plant diseases, see Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (antagonistic strains). However, some forms can also cause plant diseases. It is rod-shaped, mobile and forms durable endospores.
