Armillaria borealis (Vahl) Marxm. & Korhonen 1982
This species is a soil-borne fungus which causes root rot on forest trees in Europe and Asia. It mainly infests spruce trees. It is closely related to A. solidipes and has a similar pathogenic potential on spruce trees.
