Apiognomonia errabunda (Roberge 1848) Höhn. 1918 - (oak anthracnose)

The fungus causes oak anthracnose in Europe and North America. Symptoms include blighting of newly emerging leaves and the appearance of necrotic spots and areas along the veins and the leaf margins of older leaves. Twig and branch dieback might also occur. Beech and chestnut trees may also become infected.
