Anopheles pseudojamesi Strickland & Chowdhury, 1927
This mosquito is found in southern Asia, from India to Cambodia. It can bite humans, but mainly feeds on cattle and other domestic animals. A. pseudojamesi has not been implicated as a malaria vector.
A. pseudojamesi is very similar to Anopheles jamesii, but can be distinguished by the presence of a dark spot on the forewing at the fork CuA with vein mcu (see arrow in illustration on right) as well as by the lack of yellow scales on the abdominal tergites (Gunathilaka, 2017).
