Anomala - Schoenherr, 1817
This is a very large genus of leaf beetles, with around 1,000 species and an almost world-wide distribution. The genus contains a number of pest species, like the Oriental beetle. The adults are typically between 10 and 25 mm long with a shiny greenish or brownish colour.
