Ageniaspis Dahlbom, 1857

This genus of encyrtid parasitoids contains around 15 species which are widely distributed. Several are important parasitoids of small lepidopteran pests, mainly leafminers like Phyllocnistis citrella and Phyllonorycter species, but also Yponomeuta species.

The genus can be distinguished from closely related genera by the longitudinal grooves on the scutellum and mesoscutum, the forewing venation, the brown tegula and other morphological features.


Currently, the following species have been entered into the system:
