Acidovorax oryzae Schaad et al. 2008 - (bacterial stripe of rice)
This bacterium infects rice in Africa and other regions, causing bacterial stripe. The symptoms include brown stripes, spotting of the glumes and seed discolouration. It was previously considered to be part of Acidovorax avenae.
