Ampelomyces quisqualis (antagonist) Ces. : Schlidt.

The fungus is an antagonist (mycoparasite) to powdery mildews from the order of Erysiphales. It lives inside the hyphae and conidiophores of the host fungus producing pycnidia. A. quisqualis is commercially available and used on crops like grapevine and cucumber.
