Anthocoris nemorum (predator) (Linnaeus, 1761)
This predatory flowerbug is widely distributed in Europe and temperate parts of Asia. It is a polyphagous predator of arthropods like aphids, psyllids, mites or thrips, including many pest species (e.g. see Simonsen et al., 2010). It can also feed on plants.
The adults are 3-4 mm long with a black body and brown legs. The transparent wings have diffuse black and brown markings.
