Zygentoma - Lepismatidae - (bristletails)
This group of wingless insects was previously combined with the Archaeognatha under the order "Thysanura". The group contains several storage pests, belonging to the family Lepismatidae.
The Lepismatidae are elongated insects with scales on their abdomen and 3 long tail-like bristles at the end. The family has around 200 species and contains several storage pests like the common silverfish, Lepisma saccharina or the firebrat, Thermobia domestica.
