Xiphinema rivesi Dalmasso, 1969
The nematode is widely distributed in Europe, Asia and the Americas. It is an ectoparasite and attacks the roots of various crops. Apart from direct damage it can transmit several nepoviruses like Tomato ringspot virus. The species belongs to the Xiphinema americanum species complex.
