Trichomalus perfectus (parasitoid) (Walker, 1835)
This wasp is a solitary ectoparasitoid of larvae of the cabbage seedpod weevil, Ceutorhynchus obstrictus in Europe and can achieve high rates of parasitism. It is also present in North America (Mason et al., 2011). However, some of the earlier records from North America apparently refer to the closely related species Trichomalus lucidus (see Gibson et al., 2005).
