Triatoma pseudomaculata Corrêa & Espínola, 1964
This kissing bug is found in South America and can be common in north-eastern parts of Brazil. It is a vector of Chagas disease and lives in domestic, peridomestic, and sylvatic habitats. The typical environment of this species are arid regions where it is associated with birdnests and hollow trees (Soares et al., 2000).
