Triatoma garciabesi Carcavallo et al. 1967
This kissing bug is found in peridomestic habitats of northern Argentina, often associated with chicken. It is regarded as a secondary vector of the Chagas disease agent, Trypanosoma cruzi. T. garciabesi is closely related to Triatoma sordida.
