Tomato yellow leaf curl China virus (TYLCCnV)
This virus is found in China and infects several other plants, apart from tomato. It is transmitted by the whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Wang et al., 2016). The virus requires a betasatellite to induce disease symptoms, which involve mainly leaf deformations, yellowing and stunting, but depend on the isolate, the type of betasatellite present, and on the host plant (Zhang et al., 2015).
