Tetranychus pacificus McGregor, 1919 - (Pacific spider mite)

This mite is found in North America, especially in western parts. It is polyphagous and can infest crops like grapevine, alomds or cotton. For example, it is a serious economic pest of grape in California. In many countries, it is regarded as an important quarantine pest, in particular for grapevine and fruit trees.
