Stagonosporopsis citrulli M.T. Brewer, J.E. Stewart 2015
This fungus is widely distributed and has been described as causing gummy stem blight on cucurbits. It has been also recorded as a saprobe (Chethana et al., 2019). On watermelon it can cause severe epidemics with circular dark brown necrotic spots (Huang & Lai, 2019).
