Stagonosporopsis caricae (Sydow & P. Sydow) Aveskamp, Gruyter & Verkley 2010 - (phoma spot of papaya)
This fungus causes fruit rot and leaf spots of papaya and other crops. The ascospores have 1 septum, are elliptical, slightly curved, constricted at the septum and around 4 x 10 µm large.
