Sphaerulina betulae (Passerini 1867) W. Quaedvlieg, G.J.M. Verkley & P.W. Crous 2013

The fungus causes leaf spot on birch. The pycnidia have a diameter of around 50-100 µm. The conidia are 30-60 µm long, 1.5-3 µm wide and have up to 6 septa.
