Spermacoce ocymoides (weed) Burm. f. - (purple-leaf buttonweed)

This weed is found in tropical parts of Asia, the Pacific, Africa and America. It can be a weed of field crops and grassland. It grows to a height of around 25 cm and has been also used as a medicinal herb.
