Sogatella Fennah, 1956

This genus of dephacids is widespread and contains around 15 species, including several pests of cereals and grasses. Macropterous adults are between 2.5 to 4 mm long with females being larger than males. The males have a white longitudinal stripe along the dorsum with the sides being brown to black. The structure of the male genitalia distinguishes the genus from related genera.
