Sicyos L.
This genus Sicyos contains around 50 species of cucumber-like plants and is widely distributed. Some are agricultural weeds like burcucumber (Sicyos angulatus). Sicyos species are climbing vines with broad leaves and small flowers. The fruits are also small, often arranged in clusters and covered with spines, bristles or hair.
