Sergentomyia fallax (Parrot, 1921)
This sandfly species is found in northern Africa and the Near East, from Morocco to Pakistan, including some adjacent islands like the Canary Islands (Rioux et al., 2020). So far, it has not been reported to be a possible disease vector.
