Puccinia heucherae (Schwein.) Dietel 1891
This fungus causes a rust disease of ornamental Heuchera and outbreaks can develop. It is known from North America and Asia. In Europe it has been reported from the U.K. since 2005 (Henricot et al., 2007). Only telia are produced by the fungus which form dark brown and two-celled teliospores with a pale conical papilla.
