Pseudotheraptus Brown, 1955
This genus contains around 5 species of sucking bugs, similar in appearance to those of the genus Amblypelta. Two of them are important pests in Africa, attacking in particular the developing fruits of coconut, cashew nuts and cacao pods. However, other crops like cassava may also be attacked.
