Pseudomonas syringae pv. morsprunorum

This pathovar of Pseudomonas syringae is widely distributed and causes bacterial canker on Prunus species like cherry and plum. In young cherry orchards it can cause high losses of trees. Symptoms are very similar to those caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae on Prunus.
