Pseudomonas putida (Trevisan) Migula (antagonist)
This bacterium colonizes the roots of plants and some strains have antagonistic properties against soil-borne pathogens like Verticillium dahliae or Fusarium species. Some strains have been also described as endophytes with antagonistic properties against rust diseases.
