Pnigalio agraules (parasitoid) (Walker, 1839)
This wasp is found in Europe, neighbouring regions and parts of Asia. In Europe, it is a common parasitoid of the horse-chestnut leafminer, Cameraria ohridella, and other Lepidoptera leafminers. It has been also recorded as a parasitoid of the olive fruit fly, Bactrocera oleae, in the Mediterranean region. Gebiola et al. (2014) concluded that P. agraules apparently switched hosts when the horse-chestnut leafminer become common in south-eastern Europe and followed the leafminer when it invaded other parts of Europe.
