Phytophthora rubi Man in 't Veld, 2007
This oomycete is widely distributed in Europe, the Americas and in Australia. It infects raspberry and other Rubus hosts, causing root rot and wilting leading to plant decline, as well as reduced fruit yield and quality. In many cases, the disease progresses to plant death.
