Physokermes hemicryphus (Dalman) - (spruce bud scale)
This species of scale insects is native to parts of central and eastern Europe, where it is considered an important producer of honeydew. However, it has been recorded also from Lithuania and Latvia since 2010 and caused serious outbreaks and damage to spruce trees.
