Phlebotomus longicuspis Nitzulescu, 1930

This sandfly is found in western parts of North Africa and the Mediterranean region. It is considered to be a vector of visceral leishmaniasis caused by Leishmania infantum (Berdjane-Brouk et al., 2012).
