Pentastiridius leporinus (Linnaeus)

This planthopper infests sugarbeet in Europe and is a vector of phytoplasmas. It also transmits the sugarbeet disease 'basses richesses', caused by Candidatus Arsenophonus phytopathogenicus. The species has been often misidentified as Pentastiridius beieri.
