Paratriatoma lecticularia (Stål 1859)

This kissing bug is found in southern parts of North America and can carry the Chagas disease agent, Trypanosoma cruzi. It feeds on various mammals and has been reported from from houses and dog kennels. It has been also found associated with woodrats and squirrels.
