Panstrongylus lutzi (Neiva & Pinto 1923)
This species of kissing bug is found in north-eastern parts of Brazil. It has been recorded from the burrows of armadillos and readily flies to houses. It frequently carries the Chagas disease agent, Trypanosoma cruzi.
