Pachycoris klugii Burmeister, 1835
This species of jewel bug is common in Central America. It is regarded as a pest of physic nut (Jatropha curcas) and sucks the flowers and fruits. It also feeds on other plants. The females guard their eggs and first instar nymphs, protecting them from parasitoids.
