Pachnaeus Schoenherr, 1826
This is a small genus of leaf weevils, found mainly in Central America. The 2 species listed below are pests of citrus, with the soil-living larvae feeding on the roots (citrus root weevils). The adult attack the shoots of citrus and other plants. Pachnaeus litus is the more common and more destructive species.
