Ooencyrtus nezarae (parasitoid) Ishii, 1928

The wasp is a polyphagous egg parasitoid, native to eastern Asia. It has been accidentally introduced into the Americas (Ademokoya et al., 2018). The main pest host in Asia is Riptortus pedestris, but it has been also reported to parasitise the eggs of various other species of hemiptera from the families Pentatomidae, Coreidae and Plataspidae. O. nezarae belongs to a species complex, the members of which are difficult to distinguish.
