Oidium Link 1824
The genus Oidium has long been regarded as the anamorphic stage of many powdery mildew fungi (the Erysiphales) which produce ovoid conidia on unbranched conidiophores. The assignment to this genus is now more restricted with many species having been moved to other genera.
Currently, the following species have been entered into the system:
