Myosotis arvensis (weed) (L.) Hill - (field forget-me not)

This weed is native to Europe and Asia, but introduced into North America, Australia and New Zealand. It can be weedy in its native range, for example in cereals or vegetables, e.g. see Wilson & Wright (1990). In the introduced countries it is not regarded as a serious environmental weed.

M. arvensis grows to a height of 30-40 cm with lanceolate leaves and small blue flowers. It spreads through seeds and by sticking to clothes or the fur of animals.
