Microtus californicus (Peale) - (California vole)

The vole grows to 15-20 cm and is found in south-western North America. It damages pastures, rangelands, orchards and nurseries, as well as a wide variety of field crops. For example, it can cause significant girdling damage to citrus trees (Baldwin et al., 2018). In addition, it is a host of Borrelia.
