Journal of Plant Pathology 89 (2), 302-302
Abstract: In 2006, 79 samples were collected from symptomatic leaves of cucumber, melon and squash plants growing in commercial fields in the Hamedan Province of Iran. DAS-ELISA analysis of leaf extracts and mechanical inoculation of herbaceous hosts showed the presence of Cucumber mosaic virus, Papaya ringspot virus, Watermelon mosaic virus and Zucchini yellow mosaic virus. Melon necrotic spot virus was demonstrated by the appearance of typical symptoms in Cucumis sativus and Cucumis melo following inoculation with infected samples.
