Hemerobius stigma (predator) Stephens, 1836
This species of brown lacewing is common in North America, Europe and in parts of Asia, especially in conifer forests. It feeds on scale insects, aphids, adelgids and other small arthropods. For example, it has been often recorded as a predator of scale insects of the genus Matsucoccus.
