Heliotropium amplexicaule (weed) Vahl - (clasping heliotrope)

This plant is native to South America, but has been introduced into other regions as an ornamental. It has established in several areas like Australia or North America. In some of them it has become an environmental weed. It also grows in pastures and is poisonous when eaten by livestock.
