Haemaphysalis flava Neumann
The tick is found in eastern Asia and feeds on various mammals and birds. It may also bite humans. The species is regarded as a vector of several disease agents from the genera Rickettsia, Francisella, Borrelia and Ehrlichia, including Lyme borreliosis and Japanese spotted fever (Rickettsia japonica).
