Gutierrezia microcephala (weed) (D.C.) Gray - (threadleaf snakeweed)
This weeds is found in arid parts of Mexico and the south-western U.S. It is regarded as a weed of rangelands and is toxic to livestock. Since it is usually avoided by cattle it is an indicator for overgrazing. The plants grow to a height of up to 60 cm and have thin, elongated leaves and small yellow flower heads.
