Gryon Haliday, 1833
This genus of egg parasitoids contains around 300 species and has a world-wide distribution. The hosts are mainly bugs from the family Coreidae. Several are useful beneficials, parasitizing pest species, e.g. Gryon pennsylvanicum which is found in North America.
The genus can be recognized by a number of morphological features like the unarmed metascutellum and propodeum. The adults are small, around 1 mm.
