Glossina swynnertoni Austen
This species of tsetse flies is found in certain environments of eastern Africa and transmits trypanosomiasis to humans and animals. It can be the most common Glossina species in some areas, apparently feeding mainly on antelopes. The species belongs to the Glossina morsitans group.
