Frankliniella intonsa (Trybom 1895) - (Eurasian flower thrips)

The thrips is found in Europe and Asia. It is a Tospovirus vector and pest on various crops. Diagnostic features are listed below according to Riley et al. (2011).

pronotal anteromarginal setae shorter
than anteroangular setae
postocular seta IV reduced
comb on tergite VIII similar
to Frankliniella occidentalis
