Euschistus Dallas, 1851 - (brown stink bugs)

The genus contains between 50 and 100 species of brownish stink bugs found in different parts of America. Crops commonly attacked are soybean, cotton, groundnuts and maize, among others. The adults have a pronotum with lateral pointed angles. There is usually a faint dark brown mark in the center of the scutellum.
