Euphorbia helioscopia (weed) L. - (sun spurge)

This weed is widely distributed in temperate and subtropical regions around the world. It is regarded as a weed of field crops like cereals or legumes. In addition, it is highly poisonous to livestock, resulting in severe inflammations (Waheed et al., 2020). However, it is also used for medicinal purposes.

E. helioscopia is an annual, herbaceous plant that grows to a height of around 20-40 cm. The yellow-green flowers are typically directed towards the sun.
